Many of you reading this review already have one of these in your pocket right now. The sleek, new, sexy Iphone 6s. Apple does it again, releasing yet another addition to the long line of Iphones that have revolutionized the cell phone industry. If you own the Iphone 6s, you probably know that it looks exactly the same as the last edition. But on the inside, a lot has changed.
It has a much sturdier chassis, the camera has been upgraded from 8 megapixels to 12 megapixels, the front camera now has a 5 megapixel sensor with an added retina flash, but the main upgrade that this phone now has is the new 3D touch screen. You can now press and hold on your apps for a list of cool new shortcuts, as well as a few added features when navigating your menus.
But is it worth the upgrade? Since the new Iphone 6s looks identical to last years version, people are wondering if the changes on the inside of the phone are really worth the extra bucks. Well apparently Apple thinks so, indicating that not much has stayed the same with their slogan, “the only thing that’s changed is everything”.
They’ve released this sleek new phone at the price of $649 if you’re looking to get it without a contract. And all of this while the Samsung Galaxy 6s is beginning to decrease in price. Sounds like Apple to me. Always doing things on their own schedule. Being that they’ve released this phone a little behind schedule, most people will purchase it either because they are religious about having the latest and greatest new smart phone, or they are religious about having the most updated Apple Iphone on the market.
But when it comes down to the actual features and technical capabilities that matter most to you, only you know what works best for you. You may or may not be the type of person to use the new 3D touch features and sharp cameras for what they are worth so in the end… whether it’s worth the upgrade is up to you to decide.
But hey if you haven’t already, you should at least try it out for yourself. You may fall deeply in love with it and become an Iphone 6s junkie, I’m sure it’s happened to you before with previous models. As for me, I’m sticking with my Samsung.
